Identifying the
2nd dorsal fin
- Fins are a dull brown to light-grey in colour.
- Elongated leading edge.
- The base and the trailing edge are nearly the same length.
STATUS AND RANGE
Giant Guitarfish Glaucostegidae is listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ and in CITES Appendix II.
