Global demand for Madagascar's unique plants fuels unsustainable harvesting

This research was conducted to provide a comprehensive understanding of the wild harvest and trade dynamics of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in Madagascar, and to highlight the legislative and enforcement gaps to Malagasy policymakers to ensure legal and sustainable use, and fair benefit sharing to those involved.
